Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how bCard Link, operated by Studio 7, collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you use bCard Link websites, accounts, digital profiles, Business/Teams features and Events features.
1. Data we collect
Depending on the features you use, we may process:
- account information such as your email address, name and authentication identifiers;
- profile information you choose to publish, such as phone numbers, email addresses, job title, company, links and social profiles;
- company-managed Business/Teams profile information and account-role information;
- Event registration, Event profile, attendance and networking information;
- contacts, private notes and scanned business-card information when you choose to use those features;
- technical and security information such as browser/device information, IP-derived security signals, timestamps, logs and service diagnostics;
- usage and analytics information needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
2. Google Sign-In data
When you choose “Continue with Google”, bCard Link uses Google OAuth only to authenticate you and identify your bCard Link account. We request only standard identity information made available by Google Sign-In: your Google account identifier, email address, basic profile name and profile image if Google provides one.
bCard Link does not request access to the contents of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar or Google Contacts through Google Sign-In. Google user data obtained through Sign-In is used only for account authentication, account identity and security. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except service providers required to operate the authentication and bCard Link service.
3. How we use personal data
- to create and secure your account and sign you in;
- to display and share the profile information you explicitly choose to make public;
- to provide Personal, Business/Teams and Events functionality;
- to process support, service and sales inquiries;
- to send transactional account, security and service messages;
- to prevent abuse, investigate errors and protect the service;
- to measure service performance and improve usability.
4. Product privacy boundaries
Personal, Business/Teams and Events are separate product contexts. Company administrators can manage company-provisioned employee profiles, but they do not receive access to an employee’s private Personal profile content, private contacts or private notes. Event organizers do not receive attendee private notes or private networking connections.
5. Service providers
We use infrastructure and service providers to operate bCard Link. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database and storage infrastructure; Netlify for web hosting and delivery; Resend for transactional email; and Google for optional Google Sign-In. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to bCard Link and according to their applicable terms and privacy obligations.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed to operate requested features, with service providers acting on our behalf, when you intentionally publish/share information, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users, the service or our legal rights.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations. Where the product provides self-service editing or deletion, you may use those controls. You can also contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Some company-managed information may remain under the control of the relevant company, while user-owned Personal data remains separate from company-managed data.
8. Security
We use access controls, authenticated service boundaries, encrypted network connections and operational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their account credentials and devices.
9. Your choices
You control which profile fields you publish and which optional features you use. You may choose not to use Google Sign-In and use the other authentication methods offered by bCard Link. You can update account/profile information through the product or contact us for privacy requests.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact bCard Link / Studio 7 through our Contact page.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the product, processors or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version.
